Restrict Visibility to Specific Consumer Accounts

In some situations, you may not want a user to access a certain account online. There can be many reasons for this including:


  • The account has been closed
  • The account has been recalled by the client
  • The account is in dispute
  • There is a legal reason


When the consumer accesses the TakeWebPayments site each account they have is listed individually. Access can be disabled individually by including the AllowConsumerToAccess field in your data transmissions. By default this should be true for all users to allow them access to their account information. When this is set to false, a consumer will see their account listed but will not see any details about the account:

In the Administration site the consumer's profile will indicate that they are not allowed to access the account information, as shown below.
