The Campaign Profile section of campaign results includes a detailed engagement breakdown to help better understand how consumers have previously interacted with your emails. This view provides context on prior email activity and account status, helping you assess the makeup of each campaign audience.
Included in the breakdown:
Emails Sent Prior to Campaign – The total number of emails each consumer received before the current campaign send.
# in Campaign – The number of emails within the campaign that were sent to consumers who had received at least one email prior to this campaign.
For example, if 20 emails in the campaign were sent to consumers who had each received three emails before, those 20 emails would be reflected in the # in Campaign count.
Also included:
# Previously Engaged – The number of emails sent to consumers who have previously interacted with your content (via opens, clicks, etc.).
# Never Engaged – The number of emails sent to consumers who have not engaged with any prior emails.
Average Number of Previous Emails – The average number of times a consumer has received an email previously.
In addition, the profile includes a status breakdown showing the account status (e.g., active, inactive) of each contact and how many from each status were included in the campaign.
This breakdown helps clarify historical engagement and current account context for campaign recipients.
