How a Consumer Can Opt-Out of Communications (video)

A way to easily opt-out of communications either email, text or phone calls. To accomplish this the consumer or the agent can go to the opt-out page. The opt-out screen is currently accessible via your regular URL followed by /optout. Example: https://portal.buffalocreditsolutions.com/optout

Opt-out of Emails

Follow the below steps to opt-out of email communications

  1. Click the on screen Opt out of receiving emails button

  2. On the following page enter the Email Address you wish to opt out of receiving emails

  • The provided email will be added to the Do Not Contact (DNC) list, stopping future email communications.

  • The system administrator will be notified to update records.

  • Want to Continue Receiving Emails at a new email address? Select Yes and complete the Better Email Address field when it appears.

  • Be sure to check the I'm not a robot ReCAPTCHA

Opt-Out of Text/Phone

Follow the below steps to opt-out of text message and/or phone communications

  1. Click the Opt out of receiving  text message and/or phone calls button to complete the online form, as shown below.

  2. Enter the applicable Phone/Text Number and select from the list under What would you like to opt out of?

    • The provided number will be added to the Do Not Contact (DNC) list, stopping future email communications.

    • The system administrator will be notified to update records.

    • Want to Continue Receiving these communications at a new number? Select Yes and complete the Better Number field when it appears.

    • Be sure to check the I'm not a robot ReCAPTCHA
