How a Consumer Can Opt-Out of Communications

Consumers need to have a way to quickly and easily opt-out of communications either email, text or phone calls with little fuss. To accomplish this the consumer or the agent can go to the opt-out page. The opt-out screen is currently accessible via your regular URL followed by /optout as show in the example below. (https://buffalocreditsolutions.com/optout)


Consumers may opt-out of all communications by clicking each communication method listed below. In the event there are multiple email or phone numbers to opt-out of, a form must be completed for each opt-out request.



Opt-out of Emails

Follow the below steps to opt-out of email communications.

  1. Simply click the on screen Opt out of receiving emails button and complete the online form, as shown below.
  2. If there is a different email address that you wish to provide for future communications, select Yes. If no other email address is available, select No.
  3. Enter a new preferred email address into the Better Email Address field.  
  4. Be sure to check the I'm not a robot.

The email address provided will be added to the systems Do Not Contact ("DNC") list. This will block any future communications from being sent from the TakeWebPayments solution. Additionally, an email will be sent to the system administrator to notify them of the requested change(s) so they may update their records accordingly.

Opt-Out of Text/Phone

To opt-out of text messages or phone calls follow these steps:

  1. Click the Opt out of receiving  text message and/or phone calls button to complete the online form, as shown below.
  2. If there is a different phone number that you wish to provide for future communications, select "Yes". If not, select No. Select from one of three opt-out options
    1. Do not send text messages to this number.
    2. Do not call this number. 
    3. Do not text or call this number. 
  3. Enter a new preferred phone number into the Better Number field.  
  4. Be sure to check the I'm not a robot box.

Your phone number will be added to the Do Not Contact ("DNC") list. This will block any future text message communications from being sent from the TakeWebPayments solution.  A notification will be also be sent to the system administrator to update their records accordingly.
