Understanding Texting Campaign Numbers

Modified on Wed, May 6 at 9:53 AM

The texting campaign screen includes a detailed delivery breakdown to help better understand how consumers have interacted with your text messages. This view provides context for Total Sent and Not Sent.

Included in the breakdown:

  • Total Sent – The total number of text messages sent out in the campaign

    • Delivered - The total number of messages that were successfully delivered to the consumer.

    • Unknown - The total number of messages sent, but the carriers did not provide a delivered or undelivered status.

    • Undelivered - The total number of messages that an undelivered status was received back from the carrier.

  • Not Sent  The total number of text messages that did not get sent out in the campaign.

    • Suppressed - The total number of messages that were not sent.

    • Error -The total number of messages that received an error. An example could be an error reported by the carrier.

For example, if 2 messages in the campaign were sent to consumers who had opted out before, those 2 messages would be reflected in the Not Sent count.
