Override Email Scrub Results for Valid Emails

There are times when our scrubbing partner determines a valid email address to be invalid. Below are the steps to override the scrubbing results to make the email address valid in our system

If a you are attempting to send an email and get the following error this means ZeroBounce is blocking it from sending "TO". There is no issue sending FROM. 


Email address ([email protected]) was determined to be an invalid email address. This email will not be sent to avoid bouncing. The status is do_not_mail/role_based 

  1. Choose "Web Users" from the options ribbon at the top of the portal screen
  2. This will bring up the Web Users Search option. Fill in the email address that is currently invalid and select "Search by Email Address"
  3. This will bring up the scrubbing history of the email address entered. Under the "Scrubbing Results" section, there is an option to "Override scrubbing results and make email valid". If the Scrubbing results are anything but valid, you will need to use this option. Click on the Link "Override Scrubbing Results"
  4. Once the process has completed, the email will be classified as valid.
