There are times when our scrubbing partner determines a valid email address to be invalid. Below are the steps to override the scrubbing results to make the email address valid in the system. If a you are attempting to send an email and get an error similar to what is shown below, it means the scrubbing is blocking it from sending to and address There is no issue sending FROM.
Email address (INFO@customername.COM) was determined to be an invalid email address. This email will not be sent to avoid bouncing. The status is do_not_mail/role_based
To solve this follow these steps:
Choose "Web Users" from the options ribbon at the top of the portal screen.
Enter the email address that is currently invalid and select "Search by Email Address".
You will see the scrubbing results which may look similar to the image below.
Click Override scrubbing results and make email valid.
Complete the following screen.
Once the process has completed, the email will be classified as valid.
