Email Scrubbing

Modified on Mon, Mar 3 at 4:07 PM

Your email reputation is vital to your business success. Sending emails to unverified addresses can lead to bounces, blacklisting, and damage to your sender score. That’s why email scrubbing is a critical part of every email campaign.

At Concepts2Code, we use advanced systems to validate every email address before it’s sent. Emails that are invalid or flagged as undeliverable are automatically blocked, ensuring your campaigns reach only valid recipients. Our email validation process is outlined in the flow diagram below, with the scrubbing step highlighted in orange.

How It Works:

  1. Batch Scrubbing: When a campaign is approved, all emails are scrubbed in a single batch. This means every address is validated simultaneously for efficiency.

  2. Variable Processing Times: Since mail servers respond at different speeds, scrubbing times may vary. For campaigns with a few thousand emails, scrubbing typically completes in under 15 minutes. Larger campaigns (10,000–50,000 emails) may take up to an hour, though delays beyond this are rare.

  3. Immediate Sending: Once scrubbing is complete, your campaign is sent immediately, ensuring timely delivery to valid recipients.

By prioritizing email validation, we help you maintain a strong sender reputation and maximize the effectiveness of your campaigns.
