Sometimes you may need to present payment options in a clear, structured format. One way to do this is by inserting a table into your email template. Keep the layout simple and generic, and always test it on a mobile device to make sure it displays correctly.
You can quickly build a table using the table maker tool.
Open your email template in the editor.
Place your cursor where you want the table to go.
At the top of the editor, click Table → Table → Insert Table.
Choose 2 columns × 4 rows (one for each option), click on the table.
A blank table will appear. Click inside each box to type your text.
Here’s an example of what to enter:
Option | Details |
---|---|
Option 1 | Make 4 monthly payments of [AmountParts4] |
Option 2 | Settle your balance for [DiscountCurrent75] |
Option 3 | Call our office at [AgencyPhone] to discuss additional arrangements |
To adjust your table later:
Add a row → Table → Row → Insert row before/after
Add a column → Table → Column → Insert column before/after
Delete a row or column → Table → Row/Column → Delete
Resize your table boxes by dragging the column dividers left or right, or up and down.
For more options, highlight your table and go to Table → Table Properties. From here, you can adjust the table’s alignment, the alignment of the text inside the boxes, and the table border. If you’d like to remove the border or add colors, click the Advanced tab for additional settings.
Tips
Keep your option labels short (Option 1, Option 2, Option 3).
Test by sending yourself an email and checking how it looks on desktop and on your phone.
To add styling (like bold or background colors), use the Table Properties option in the toolbar.
