By default emails and batch email campaigns are sent based on Eastern Standard Time (EST) without any time restrictions. Our team can set limitations on sending to ensure that campaigns cannot be generated outside of specific time periods such as only send between 8am EST -8pm EST. If you wish to have specific global time limitations set on your site to control when campaigns are sent, please submit a ticket to our support desk at [email protected].
**Please note that the stop time of the time restriction is set up to be the latest time an email campaign can be sent. If a campaign has started processing prior to the stop time, it may complete after the designated stop time.
Other recommendations to address time zones are to:
- Create filtered lists of consumers based on their time zones and send campaigns based on that time zones optimal sending time.
- Instruct admins and/or agents to only Approve campaigns specified times.
- You may create campaigns at any time. Sending starts only after the campaign is approved. Many automated systems generate campaigns in the early morning. These will be queued until you approve them.
- Email campaigns can be imported through automation using SFTP. Contact us if you would like more information about setting up automation using SFTP.
