One text holds up to 160 characters. You can send and receive messages which are larger and they will appear as one message to both you and your consumers, but they will count as multiple texts towards your usage.
Character counts are automatically calculated based on the number of characters displayed in the text message template. This will be a rough estimate as replacements fields will alter the final total characters within the message once the campaign is built.
Charges will still apply to text messages sent to landlines in error.
