How to Restrict an Email Address

If a consumer has verbally notified you that they do not wish to be contacted via email. You can manually add them to the DNE (blacklist) list. This will eliminate any communications going to the consumer at the address they provided. For additional information, please refer to our help article on whitelisting and blacklisting.


To restrict an email address:


  1. Click on the Emails/Letters menu
  2. Scroll down to the Email Management 
  3. Select Email Restrictions (whitelisting/blacklisting)
  4. Click Add Email Address
  5. Enter the Email Address such as "[email protected]"
  6. Select the desired permission or restriction
    • blacklisting - (prevent sending)
  7. Click Save
