How To Unsubscribe a Consumer

Whenever a consumer receives a batch (mass) email, a link to unsubscribe will be included at the bottom. The consumer can use this link at any time to opt out. If the consumer prefers to unsubscribe through another method such as over the phone, via direct email, or by letter -  an agent can process the request internally. To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the Consumer Search page. Enter the reference number to search for the account. Click on the account.

  2. Once the account is pulled up, click on Edit Personal Information.

  3. Select the Action menu drop down and choose Unsubscribe from Collection Emails.

  4. You will have the option to apply changes to unsubscribe This account only or All packeted accounts.

  5. After you have selected the correct options, click on Update and your changes will be applied.
