You may notice users of Gmail show up as using the the Firefox browser in Email Tracking, or they are using a mobile device and it shows up as a Desktop.
This limitation is due to Gmail using proxies for all the images in the email. This includes tracking links making it hard to determine the actual browser in use. Our portal, like most web applications, uses a user-agent string from the image request to determine the email client. Google returns an identical user agent for all clients regardless of their browser or device.
